Exterior painting

Meet the painting season with finished houses on show and complete quote requests

Exterior work happens in a short, weather-bound window. Homeowners decide by looking at houses like theirs, and you need the surface and size before you can price. We set up both before spring arrives.

How homeowners hire an exterior painter

  1. 1Notice peeling trim or faded siding, usually as the weather warms
  2. 2Look for finished houses with the same siding, brick, stucco or deck
  3. 3Note the surface type, rough size and when they hope the work will be done
  4. 4Request an estimate and agree a visit or a photo review
  5. 5Get a start date that depends on the forecast and your crew's schedule

Common needs

  • 01

Demand that arrives all at once

Requests pile up in the first warm weeks and fade by late fall. A seasonal landing page and campaigns prepared over winter are ready the moment people start looking.

  • 02

Quote requests that start from zero

A message asking what it costs to paint a house needs several calls before you can price it. Asking for surface type, approximate size and number of storeys up front lets you sort jobs and plan visits.

  • 03

Before shots nobody remembered to take

The change from tired to fresh is your strongest sales material, but the before photo is easy to forget on a busy morning. A simple photo routine on every job builds a gallery, once each homeowner agrees.

Recommended services

Website, job photos, seasonal campaigns and request handling

Service and area pages with a before-and-after gallery, photo and video from finished jobs, Meta campaigns timed for spring and summer that lead to a seasonal landing page, and an automation that records each quote request with its surface and size details and alerts you.

Illustrative example, not a client project

From spring quote request to scheduled job

  1. 1Homeowner selects surface type, approximate size and the month they have in mind
  2. 2Those details are stored with the request and you receive an alert
  3. 3You ask for a few photos or visit the house, then send a written estimate
  4. 4Once accepted, a start window is set and moved if rain is forecast
  5. 5After the job, before-and-after photos join the gallery if the homeowner agrees

What we would need from you

  • The surfaces you paint and those you don't, such as brick, stucco, siding, decks or fences
  • The towns and neighbourhoods your crews travel to
  • Before-and-after photos you may publish, or a plan to start taking them
  • Your season dates and how you handle rain delays
  • Whether you price from photos or only after a visit, and who receives requests

Limits we keep

  • Surface and size answers help you review a job; they never produce an automatic exact price
  • No warranty, paint-life or weather-proof timeline claims the business cannot back
  • Houses appear in the gallery only with the owner's permission, and house numbers stay out of frame
  • Campaigns come with no promised number of requests, and ad spend is paid to Meta separately

Relevant work

ARV HOME: a renovation contractor's site, not a painting company

Allam built and runs ARV HOME for a general contractor in the GTA; we have not built a site for a painting company. Three parts transfer directly: an estimate request split into two short steps, filtered for spam and emailed to the owner; a separate page for each service; and project pages with photos, which are still being added. It is Allam's own project, shown as an example of method rather than a testimonial.

Questions

01Can the website show homeowners a price?

It can explain what moves the price, such as surface, height, condition and prep work, but the form does not calculate a quote. Your review or visit sets the figure.

02When should we prepare for the season?

Over the winter, ideally, so pages, photos and campaigns are ready before the first warm weekend. Campaigns can then be paused during rainy stretches or when your calendar is full.

03Can you photograph our jobs?

Yes, in the GTA, by arrangement. We can also give your crew a simple routine, the same angles from the street and up close before and after, so the gallery stays consistent between shoots.

04Can campaigns reach only the areas we serve?

Meta lets campaigns focus on chosen locations, and we match them to the towns you list. Location targeting is approximate, so the form still asks for the city.
