Privacy policy

Your project check answers: business type, need, current setup, budget range, timing and what is ready, plus whether you asked for help choosing a package.

The contact details you enter: name, business name, email and/or phone, website, preferred contact method and notes.

Your consent choices and when you made them.

The website language you used, and campaign information such as UTM tags, the page you landed on and the referring site's domain.

Your IP address, used briefly to limit abuse and stored only as a one-way hash.

To reply to your inquiry, prepare a recommendation or proposal, and understand which channels bring inquiries.

I contact you about your inquiry only because you agreed to it. Marketing messages are sent only if you tick the separate, optional box.

Submissions are stored in a database on the server that runs this website, rented from Hostinger.

I manage inquiries with n8n (automation), Notion (lead records) and Telegram (a notification to me). Once these tools are connected, your submission is passed to them.

If you choose WhatsApp, messages go through WhatsApp, operated by Meta. If analytics is enabled and you allow it, Google Analytics receives anonymous usage events (see below).

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under local laws.

This site sets one cookie to remember your language. It uses no advertising cookies or pixels.

Google Analytics runs only if it is enabled on this site and you allow it in the banner. It then receives page views and anonymous events such as a started or completed project check, a submitted inquiry or a WhatsApp click, never your name, contact details or notes. You can change your choice with Analytics settings at the bottom of the page.

Campaign tags and your unfinished form are kept in your browser's storage so you don't lose your answers. You can clear them in your browser settings.

There is no fixed automatic deletion period yet. I keep an inquiry while it is needed to answer you and, if we work together, for the project and my legal and tax records. You can ask me to delete your inquiry at any time.

Server backups of the inquiry database are deleted after 14 days.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@almdigitalstudio.com. Marketing messages always include a way to unsubscribe.

If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Access to stored inquiries is limited to me. Credentials for connected tools are kept on the server, never in your browser. No method is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable measures to protect your information.

If this policy changes, the date above is updated.
